Installation guide

Important! During installation and operation, observe the general rules of electrical safety regarding the use of electrical appliances, as well as the requirements of regulations on electrical safety. It is strictly forbidden to disassemble a device to which any conductors are connected!

Atom series controllers require pre-configuration:

1. Installation

Install the controller and power supply to the DIN rail. Make sure there are no signs of mechanical damage or condensation. If necessary, install additional switchboard equipment - contactors, circuit breakers, power supplies and other automation devices.

2. Power supply

Connect the power supply to the mains via the circuit breaker. Connect the power supply output to the controller's power connector.
Controller power connectors, sensor power outputs and load control outputs for easy installation are made in the form of removable connectors with screw terminals.

Important! Although the controller has built-in protection against incorrect power connection, and in this situation will not fail, we recommend that you pay attention to the correct polarity when connecting

3. i3-NET

If your system uses multiple controllers, connect them to a i3-NET network. Install the end terminators included in the equipment kit at the ends of the bus.

4. Connecting DALI devices

Integration with external systems, such as i3 Engineering controllers, is typically carried out via the INT-RS module, which serves as a protocol converter between the Satel (alarm) bus and the RS-232/RS-485 standard.
● A standard data transmission rate is used — 19200 baud, 8 bits, 1 stop bit, no parity.● The INT-RS module connects to the CKM/DTM bus of the Integra panel (this is an internal bus for modules).● The module connects to the external system (e.g., the controller) via an RS-232 interface (RX, TX, GND).● Once connected, the controller can poll partitions, zones, and OUT outputs, as well as react to events received in ASCII format. For example, the controller can periodically poll the status of partitions, and upon detecting an alarm, trigger a specific scenario (e.g., turn off the lights, open the blinds, activate a camera, etc.).

5. Done. Turn on the power

Important! Check all connections. Make sure that the power supply, inputs and outputs are connected correctly.

List of typical problems and their solutions

  • LED indicators do not light

    1. Check the supply voltage on the controller2. Check the polarity of the power supply

  • The device is turned on but not in the application settings

    1. Make sure Wi-Fi and bluetooth are turned on on your smartphone or tablet2. Verify that the home network password is specified correctly in the controller settings3. Check the correct connection of the i3-NET bus
