Setting up devices according to the schedule

Home automation uses many devices or systems that must operate on a well-defined schedule. For example, turning on facade lights every evening, or the operation of the irrigation system.
In the i3 Home mobile application, you can easily set a work schedule for any operating device.
Let's consider the possibilities of setting up the operation of the devices according to the schedule - for example, turning on the facade lights every day at 19:00.

Create a new automation

● In the Dashboard window, at the bottom right, you need to select Automation● To create a new automation, click on the "+" icon● In the list that appears, you need to select Automation

Selection of executing devices

● A window opens with a list of all devices configured in the system. By clicking on the "pencil" icon in the upper right corner of the screen, you can set the name of the automation● In the With what to manage section, select Schedule● In the What to manage section - Facade lamps● After that, click on the "arrow” in the lower right corner of the screen and go to the automation settings

Setting the schedule

For the schedule, it is possible to choose whether the event will be performed once or with a certain frequency:- Single event - the event will take place once at the specified time and date
- Repeated event - the event will take place on the given days and hours

If you choose a repeating event, you need to specify the frequency with which the action will be performed

Repeating event setting options

● For repeating events, you can choose the following options:- every minute / hour - the possibility to set the execution time interval within minutes / hours- every day - selection of activation time with a period of 1 day- every weekday - choosing the day of the week and the hour of operation- every month - choosing the date of the month and the hour of activation
● Choose Every day● Choose an hour (for example, 19:00)

Setting up the facade lamps

● For Facade lamps, select "Turn on"● Click Save

Important! To configure the turn off of facade lamp, you need to configure another automation in which to set the shutdown time.

The result of the described steps:

The facade lighting will be switched on every day at 19:00.
