Scenarios (lighting control)

Setting up the “Came home” scenario: turn on the main light and backlight in the hallway, turn on the lights in the hall after 10 seconds, turn off the main light in the hallway after 5 minutes, leaving the backlight on.

Create a new scenario

● In the Dashboard window, at the bottom right you need to select Automation● To create a new automation, click on the "+" icon● In the list that appears, select "Script"In the list that appears, select Scenario

Select devices

● A window opens with a list of all executable devices configured in the system● You can specify the name of the script by clicking on the "pencil" icon in the upper right corner of the screen● Select the lighting devices you want to turn on and the Pause object● Then click on the "arrow" in the lower right corner of the screen and go to the scenario settings

Setting the lighting in the corridor

● For the lamp in the corridor, select "Turn on"● For the LED strip (backlight in the corridor) select "Turn on"

Setting the lighting in the hall

● To pause, select the time after which the lamp in the hall will be turned on after the start of the scenario (10 seconds)● For the lamp in the hall, select "Turn on"

Setting the lighting off in the corridor

● Copy in automation pause (swipe pause to the left, the icon "Copy")● Move the copied pause to the desired position in the list of devices● For pause, select the time after which the lamp in the hallway will be turned off (5 minutes)● For the lamp in the corridor, select "Turn off"

Important! The scenario runs in the same order in which the items are placed on the screen.

The result of the described steps:

Created a scenario that turns on and off after 5 minutes, this scenario can be started from the dashboard - by clicking on the appropriate card, each time you run the script, the countdown will be set to 5 minutes, i.e. if you run the script - the light will turn on, if after 4 minutes you restart the scenario again the light will turn off after 9 minutes.

Note: You can run this scenario from Dashboard. And you can configure automation to run the script with a switch, specifying the created scenario as an executable device

Create a new automation to activate the scenario

● In the Dashboard window, at the bottom right you need to select Automation.● To create a new automation, click on the "+" icon.● In the list that appears, select "Script"In the list that appears, select Scenario

Select devices

● A window opens with a list of all devices configured in the system● You can specify the name of the automation by clicking on the "pencil" icon in the upper right corner of the screen● In the section With what to manage, select the desired switch (type Button)● In the What to manage section, the scenario we created● Then click on the "arrow" in the lower right corner of the screen and go to the automation settings

Automation settings

● For the switch you need to select from the list the type of event (for example "click"), and for the scenario "start"● After completing all the settings, click the "save" icon

The result of the described steps:

Each time you press the selected switch (key), the set sequence of actions will take place - the main light and backlight will turn on in the corridor, in 10 seconds the light in the hall will turn on, after 5 minutes the main light in the corridor will turn off and the backlight will remain on.
