Changeable modules

The flagship of the Atom series is the Hydrogen controller. Its feature is the possibility to change the power elements at the output, to control different types of loads. These elements are implemented in the form of changeable modules.

Each module is designed to control a specific type of equipment:

ACD - changeable module for switching on and smooth adjustment of devices with supply voltage 220V AC and power up to 100W. Suitable for controlling active and capacitive loads: incandescent lamps, LED lamps and power supplies with the leading edge dimming capabilities. The power element is a triac. The design provides a built-in current sensor to monitor the load consumption.

ACD+ - changeable module for switching on and smooth adjustment of devices with supply voltage 220V AC and power up to 50W. Suitable for controlling different types of loads: incandescent lamps, LED lamps and power supplies with the leading edge dimming capabilities and trailing edge dimming capabilities for servo drives, electric motors. The power element is a pair of MOSFET transistors. The design provides a built-in current sensor to monitor the load consumption.

DCD - changeable module for switching on and smooth adjustment of devices with supply voltage up to 48V DC and current consumption up to 4A. Suitable for controlling LED strips, lamps, servos. Type of dimming - PWM. Power element - MOSFET-transistor. The design provides a built-in current sensor to monitor the load consumption.

R - changeable module for switching on devices with supply voltage up to 30V DC / 220V AC and current consumption up to 5A. Suitable for controlling all types of loads, or for the implementation of the output signal such as "dry contact". Power element - relay. The design provides a built-in current sensor to monitor the load consumption.

ALC - Module designed to control diodes and stripes with WS2812 interface

A simple and intuitive indication is provided for visual control of the type and status of each of the modules. There are 2 LEDs on the top of the module. One, red, signals the active state of the output, the other indicates the presence and type of module in the i3-flex connector. The color of its glow corresponds to the type of module:
● yellow - ACD● orange - ACD+● blue - DCD● green - R● violet - 10D, ALC

The module must be installed in the i3-flex connector in the controller housing and configured in the i3 Home mobile application output according to the connected device. An additional convenience of this procedure - the controller after turning on the power automatically determines the type of changeable module to be configured, and will activate only those functions that can be implemented with this module. For example, when configuring a module with a relay output, the dimming function will not be available.
