Principles of use

  • 1

Background colors of the i3 Engineering brand: dark gray shades, black, Navy Blue palette (see "Background colors" section).Additional colors: orange and blue (see "Additional colors" section). It is recommended to use no more than 3 colors (including two palettes) for a successful layout colour solution.

  • 2

Do not forget to take into account the proportions of the use of colors, namely the background colors should always occupy about 95% of all colors used in the layout. Additional - no more than 5%, when you want to emphasize a certain element, title, icons, etc.

  • 3

Use colors consciously! Not every page of your design needs to include all background and secondary colors. Look for interesting combinations between bright elements (orange or blue) and a dark contrasting background (navy blue, dark gray, black)

  • 4

It is not recommended to use several additional colours, because then the focus is lost and it becomes unclear what exactly was emphasised. Use accent colours when you want to show strong contrasting relationships between one element (or group of elements) and others.
