What's new?

Version: 0.18.0

Expanded DALI Lighting Capabilities

Illustration

We’ve expanded the capabilities for working with DALI lighting. The system now supports new device types - DALI RGB and DALI Color Temperature - and features improved scanning and configuration of lamps on the bus.

We’ve also improved the DALI bus and lamp pages. New convenient tools allow you to save and reuse configurations, delete selected lamps in bulk, use advanced settings for RGB and CCT strips, and use DALI RGB in automations and templates. All of this makes configuring DALI lighting simpler, faster, and significantly more flexible.

Dark Mode for the App

We have added a night mode - the ability to switch the interface to a dark theme. The theme switcher is available in the user settings. All elements of the application have been updated for comfortable use. Now you can adapt the application to your style and comfort at any time of the day.

New Universal Thermostat

We’ve added THERMOSTAT v2, a new thermostat version with a heating/cooling operating mode that combines both modes in a single device.

The thermostat now restores the set temperature and operating mode after a controller restart. It also allows you to define how the system should behave in the event of a sensor failure — for example, maintaining the current state instead of forcing the system to switch off, as was previously the case.

Expanded Automations

Illustration

We’ve added an advanced automation mode. You can now define triggers that start a rule separately from the conditions that are checked after the trigger is activated.

An Otherwise block has also been added, allowing a single automation to replace several previous rules and providing greater flexibility for creating automation logic.

New Atom Extension N Network Controller

Illustration

We have added support for the new Atom Extension N Network Controller, which connects to the system as a separate device. It is automatically detected by the app and appears in the device manager, simplifying the setup and management of your smart home network.

Version: 0.17.0

New module
Atom Extensions Modbus RTU

Illustration

In this version, we added support for the new Atom Extensions Modbus RTU device. In projects with a large number of Modbus devices, system stability starts with the right architecture. That’s why we introduced a 1U Modbus device that allows you to flexibly split the network and scale the system without unnecessary compromises.

Import/Export of individual user settings.

This includes app settings, dashboard configuration, language, backgrounds, and quick actions on room tiles. During import, the system automatically clears previous data and warns about potential errors, ensuring fast and secure configuration recovery. With this update, your system becomes even more reliable and flexible.

Version: 0.16.0

We’re constantly improving the i3 Home platform — here are the key updates that make working with the system even more convenient and flexible:

Hybrid local-connection mode

Even without an internet connection, you never lose the ability to control your smart home.

The updated system automatically selects the best connection route — local or cloud — and continues to operate reliably under any conditions.

We redesigned the login page, added a connection status indicator to the menu, and introduced advanced settings for local access.

The new autonomous controller mode ensures that your home stays under control, even when the internet is unavailable.

A new controller with 4–20 mA interface support

We now support even more devices!
The new controller with 4–20 mA protocol support works with additional states and sensors — temperature, pressure, volume, and more.

These parameters can already be used in your automation scenarios.

Search Automations

Finding the right automation is now even easier thanks to fast search within tabs!

"Anti-Flood" Template

We’ve also added a new “Anti-Flood” template to protect against leaks and an updated “Click Counter” with expanded capabilities.
Add actuators to filters and create smarter automation rules.

Operating frequency: 50/60 Hz

The new software version adds the ability to select the operating frequency (50/60 Hz), ensuring broader compatibility with different power grid standards.

State retention in FRAM memory

Device state retention — your home recovers automatically
We’ve added a new mechanism for saving states in non-volatile memory.
Now, even after a controller reboot or a power outage, the system automatically restores all key parameters: thermostat settings, lighting status, modes, and other important states.
Thanks to the new recovery configurator, your smart home returns to operation as if nothing ever happened.

Version: 0.15.0

Import/Export Settings

Export and import controller configurations:
• Save configurations and automations.
• Restore to any controller — quickly and flexibly.
• Auto-cleaning on import and warnings about possible errors.

Guest Mode

A unique solution for hotels and rental properties:
• Limited access to settings
• Protection from changing language, sorting, or logging out of the app
• Perfect control from wall panels

Logo Customization

For corporate clients — add your own logo to the top of the dashboard.

Network monitoring

Network availability monitoring: • Controller checks connection via ping • Auto or manual tracking address setup • Option to fully disable the feature
This service allows for prompt detection of network outages or failures, increasing system reliability through rapid identification and resolution of issues.

• Update the list or create a new home
• Improved status display during configuration

Create variables inside automation

Illustration

You can now create variables directly while setting up an automation — no need to predefine them elsewhere. This makes your workflow faster and your logic more flexible.

Variables in Automations

From now on, automations in the system have become much more flexible:● Increment and decrement allow variables to change dynamically during automations, rather than being set to fixed values only.● Comparing variables with device values enables the creation of more complex and conditional scenarios (e.g., responding to differences in temperature or light levels).● Creating variables directly from the automation interface simplifies workflow, as there is no need to switch to separate settings.

New Entities

Support for new devices, especially heating-related:
• Boiler, radiator, towel dryer, water heater, underfloor heating, valves, fan coil
• Day/night, battery level, ON/OFF for Modbus
