Welcome to the world of a smart home - an intelligent space where everything is configured for the convenience and safety of residents. For your attention, a private house in the city of Vinnytsia.

Solution

The following controllers were used to create the Smart Home system in this house: two Atom Hydrogens with changeable modules, four Atom Carbons, as well as Atom Argon N and Atom Neon.

Let's start with lighting. Our system controls dimmable lamps and LED strips that allow residents to create different moods and atmospheres at any time. In part of the house, lighting control is automated with motion and light sensors that turn lights on or off depending on detected motion and light levels.

Climate is controlled with special attention, taking into account the wishes of the residents and the energy efficiency of the system as a whole. Our arsenal includes temperature sensors, thermal heads, thermostats with a touch screen. Control of the heated floors and fan coil, as well as the heat pump (via Modbus), allows you to precisely adjust the temperature in each room separately.

The presence of a thermostat with a built-in CO2 sensor provides constant monitoring of air quality, which positively affects the well-being and productivity of residents. The system will immediately send a message to the mobile application if the CO2 level rises above the norm and offers to ventilate the house.

Residents can directly control the motorized blinds, or create certain scenarios and automations, for example with a link to sunrise and sunset. Motorized blinds also affect the energy efficiency of the house by providing natural light and reducing the use of artificial lighting. Open curtains in winter help to additionally warm the room, and closed ones prevent excessive heating in summer.

A special additional feature is the weather station, which monitors weather conditions and, if strong wind or rain is detected, automatically closes the attic awnings to protect the house from inclement weather. In addition, flood detectors and smoke detectors ensure the safety of the house, quickly reacting to possible emergency situations and providing real time information about the house to the owners.

Products

Atom HydrogenThe set of multifunction inputs and modular architecture of outputs allow to use this controller to solve any technical problems, even if these tasks provide periodic change of types of input signals and types of loads. Change the configuration of outputs and inputs in real time without any tools.More

Atom CarbonDesigned to work with high loads. Not only you can turn on powerful devices, but also conveniently organize managed outlets and even use them to control the input power groups.More

Atom Argon N Ideal for controlling a large number of low-power loads: thermal heads, devices with dry contact inputs (garage doors, impulse blinds), intermediate relays, emergency lighting, electric locks and more.More

Atom Neonhe name itself says that its main purpose is to control modern lighting devices such as LED strips, furniture lamps, low-voltage LED lamps and more.More

Where to buy

Despite the easy configuration process thanks to the i3 Home App, a wired automation solution requires some technical skills in wiring, installing engineering systems and experience in installing various peripheral devices. That is why we recommend entrusting the development and installation of the Smart Home system only to certified i3 Engineering installers in your region. We can also provide training for your electrician or installation organisation.
